How it works

Fingerprinted, chained, recomputable.

Every price update can be fingerprinted the moment it reaches the server. Every bet can be tied to the exact update it was opened against. And the full chain can be independently verified.

Every price update is fingerprinted

Each incoming update receives a SHA-256 fingerprint linked to the previous updates, creating a tamper-evident chain that travels with the quote.

Every bet names its tick

When a user taps, the system records the exact price, time and server fingerprint tied to that bet, and checks that claim before pricing the cell.

Anyone can verify it

The result screen shows the updates before, during and after the bet, and the hashes can be recomputed in the browser with one tap.

The chain keeps growing

Later updates keep extending the chain faster than it could ever be rewritten, so any manipulation is detectable.

Every hash on the player's screen is the server's, exactly as received on the quote. Sealed daily blocks and an external anchor follow with server anchoring, currently in development.

Integrity becomes easier to trust and easier to explain. A dispute is answered by the player's own screen and a recompute that passes or fails.

This is bigger than a feature. It is a principle across Tap Trading, Tap Markets™ and everything we build next. Synthetic titles carry the same principle through a certified RNG with a committed seed and a replayable round.

Anything that affects player money should be independently verifiable.

For your regulator

Fairness you can hand to your regulator.

Instead of asking a testing laboratory to trust our database, every part of a Tap that a regulator has to trust is made independently verifiable. It follows the life of a single round.

Immutable player intent

Asset, price range, time window, stake, payout, feed version and rules version are recorded at the moment the Tap is accepted. Nothing is revised afterwards — for the player or for you.

Provable market data

Prices are aggregated from multiple independent venues into signed, sequenced market records. Thousands of records are batched into a Merkle tree and the root is committed to a public chain — the price path cannot be rewritten.

Certified randomness, where used

Hybrid OTC and Synthetic engines use a certified RNG and certified game mathematics with a known theoretical RTP. The Real market engine uses none.

Deterministic settlement

Accepted Tap × signed market path (or certified RNG output) × published rules = result. The operator cannot choose the outcome after seeing its liability — and neither can we.

Independent verification

Any completed Tap can be reproduced by a player, auditor, laboratory or regulator without asking us: what was selected, what the market did, which algorithm version applied, and whether settlement was correct.

How the price chain seals itself

Every tick is fingerprinted, and each fingerprint is locked into the next — a hash chain. The final hash is printed on every trade receipt, so the entire price history behind a payout is sealed the moment the round settles.

Regulator's checklist

The questions you will be asked — answered.

Who controls the player's money?You do. The game runs against your wallet through the Wallet API. Market Games never custodies player funds.
What determines the market?Real: a signed multi-venue feed. Hybrid OTC: two external feeds set the envelope. Synthetic: a certified RNG.
What determines the randomness?A certified RNG in Hybrid OTC and Synthetic modes; none in Real market mode.
Can the operator influence the outcome?No. Tap terms are fixed at acceptance and settlement is deterministic from signed data and published, versioned rules.
Can historical data be modified?No. Market records and Taps are Merkle-committed to a public chain.
Can a completed transaction be reproduced?Yes. Tap + market record + algorithm version yields the same result for anyone who checks.
Can the player exit without operator permission?Funds sit in your wallet under your licence's withdrawal rules. Non-custodial exit is a property of Tap Trading White Label, not of the API product.
Can an auditor verify the same outcome?Yes — without our cooperation. That is the point of the architecture.
FAQ

What operators ask about fairness.

How is fairness certified?

At two levels. The market path is aggregated from multiple public venues into signed, sequenced records whose Merkle roots are committed on-chain (our Rate Integrity System), so no quote can be altered after the fact. Where an engine uses randomness — Hybrid OTC and Synthetic — the RNG, game mathematics and theoretical RTP are certified by an accredited laboratory for your jurisdiction, exactly as for any RGS title.

Does the player need a wallet or a blockchain account?

No. Players use the operator's accounts and wallet. Verification runs on the result screen; the chain is a proof layer only and is never on the critical path of a round.
